Bio

✨ About Me

Hi, I’m Sofya.

I was born in Moldova and moved to Israel at the age of eight. Growing up between cultures shaped who I am today a global educator with a deep love for language and connection.

I speak five languages  Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, and English — and hold three university degrees from institutions in the United States, China, and Israel. My academic and personal journey has taken me across continents, but Hebrew has always remained at the heart of my work.

Over the past five years, I have been traveling the world while teaching Hebrew online to students of all ages. I have taught Hebrew at The Rashi School in Boston, the University of Minnesota, Talmud Torah in Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and high school students through LanguageBird.

My teaching style is warm, structured, and confidence-focused. I believe language learning should feel clear, supportive, and meaningful  not overwhelming.

Today, through My Language Academy, I bring my global experience and passion for Hebrew to students everywhere.
